Machine Operator III
Primary Purpose:
The Machine Operator III position will possess complete knowledge of several machines. Will be able to track several points of data to aid in analysis of processing. Perform Retooling procedures as needed. This position will report directly to the RTF Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for general production that requires constant quality and set up inspections. Provide tooling changes as needed Establish preventative maintenance for safety compliance issues Identify machine capability based product and ability to optimize machinery to meet scheduling. Troubleshoot and accurately report machine issues to maintenance or other support groups. Communicate with supervisor concerning production plan and machine maintenance issues Responsible for cross training other employees on machine Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions. Perform quality checks inspection on parts produced Help production workers by supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. Will perform other job-related duties as assigned. Consistently deliver the best in customer service. Education:
Minimum of up to 8 years of education required
Experience:
1 -- 3 years of relevant work experience Previous experience in complex wood working machinery required Extensive experience on at least one machine Skills:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Ability to comprehend and follow instructions Ability to work independently and in a team work environment Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment Ability to properly assess and prioritize tasks Must possess general computer software skills Excellent problem solving skills and analytical skills.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
