The Sewing General Worker III is responsible for performing non sewing duties to include Cutting bands, Bar Tacking the bands together, Pairing preboarded product, Slitting PH type product, and Inspect-Fold and Bag product Duties/Responsibilities Cutting Bands Follow the Work Order requirements and EOP guidelines to ensure quality Bar Tacking Follow the Work Order requirements and EOP guidelines to ensure quality Pairing Ability to make decisions to ensure that individual leg blanks are a match for fabrication Follow the Work Order requirements and EOP guidelines to ensure quality Slitting Follow the Work Order requirements and EOP guidelines to ensure quality Inspect-Fold-Bag Ability to make sound quality decisions as to pass/fail Ability to count correctly and determine the correct bands to use when bagging the product Follow the Work Order requirements and EOP guidelines to ensure quality Other- Communicate quality issues to the Manager.
Communicate machine related issues to the Manager or Maintenance staff.
Follow priorities and work order due dates when completing work Participate in department meetings and Lean initiatives All other duties as assigned, including helping in other departments as needed Qualification Requirements Possess a strong work ethic, and be an effective communicator High School preferred but not required No experience required Detail oriented Quality conscious Competitive Benefits package available, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match.
