Knitter/Inspector/Creeler

This 3rd Shift position is responsible for running circular knitting machines to produce quality products, while maintaining high efficiency and product output.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Communicates machine, product and yarn issues to the other Knitter/Inspectors/Creelers and Manager to ensure problems are known
Documents the machine data sheets to list issues that will allow the problems to be documented and allowing machines to be repaired
Reviews the machine efficiency daily report to identify poor performing machines
Communicates yarn performance issues to the Manager
Participates in shift meetings
Insures correct yarns are used to produce product per work order instructions
Keep yarn tied on machines and changes yarn when required
Records correct information per box on work order
Keep machines set over - If yarn cuts out, the employee if trained and is approved by the manager may re-thread, set to end of cycle, take out the cut out product & set machine back to beginning of the cycle
Doffs completed boxes (take product from machine, scan work order, place work order in box with product and then place in proper inventory location
Starts machines for each new work order
Inspects knitted products for defects
Keeps work areas clean
All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Ability to read, write and speak English
No experience required
Detail oriented


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
