Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of design and construction projects in a manner consistent with our guiding principles of safety and capital efficiency.
The Project Manager will manage the construction of multi-million dollar industrial-scale construction projects from inception to completion. As the designated point of responsibility for the project, the PM will provide company integration, direction and oversight of all project engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
The PM will report directly to VP of Construction and will work closely with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders within Operations to create a synergistic and cost-effective solution for the stated Project.
Responsibilities
Assists in the development of new Greenfield projects and is responsible for development of cost estimates, scope documents and project execution documents
Manages the execution of multi-million dollar projects:
Oversees the project team and resolves commercial and technical issues.
Manages project cost schedule and scope within the project's defined boundaries.
Develops budget and schedule variance reports and presents to senior management on a regular basis.
Manages project contractors.
Hands off the project in a ready to operate state to the Operations Group.
Identifies innovative opportunities that enhance the quality of, decrease the cost of, and reduce time to complete construction projects.
Ensures uniform quality, schedule and budget for all design and construction projects for the corporation.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulatory agency-required guidelines.

Qualifications
BS or MS in Construction Management, or Engineering (minimum 15 years experience).
10 years experience in managing industrial-scale projects over $100 million preferably in the wood and/or power, heavy industry, and oil industries.
Strong project management experience with the ability to set-up and execute large projects.
Strong understanding of contract terms and is able to execute in the field.
Excellent project control (cost control and scheduling) skills are essential.
Knowledge of codes, regulations, and industry standards & practices including OSHA-required health and safety guidelines for construction.
Ability to direct multi-disciplined teams to accomplish project objectives.
Ability to evaluate and resolve project economic and scope issues.
Project development and/or project finance experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
